Yeah and instead of costing the normal price, it will cost the price of the helmet and the cost of a day pass to get into the park

Did you get hardhats w/ lights, or just head lamps? I ask, because I've never actually seen them for sale anywhere. I haven't been to Surplus City in years, though. Do they still have the fire truck and the rusty casket there?

I've got a hardhat and a light, but I hardly ever wear the hat anymore. It's too bulky. That is, unless I need to disguise myself as a construction worker... I wouldn't suggest it for a cave that requires any amount of crawling, though.

Try Karst Sports
http://store.karstsports.com/helmets.html

or

Bob and Bob
http://www.4bobandbob.com/

or
IMO

I've bought cave gear from all three. They are cavers themselves.
You can buy so-so helmet lights at the local big box store but
some of them are really crappy.
A proper helmet with strap is nice to have too.
Take three sources of light with you.
