Mississippi River Road

Has anyone ever done this whole road from Hanibal to Southern Illinois? if not it's a great trip and there are alot of sight/places to explore along the way including a french fort right on the river. I'm wanting to make the trip again this summer but have to wait till I'm done with some chemo treatments
