Anyone ever heard of this?

Post by slow_walker »

I have lived in Barry County 98% of my life, but this is the first time I have ever heard of this. Do any of you guys know anything about it?
Apparently it was once the site of a village and ozark bluff dwellers? I am intrigued. Especially since it says the address is Cassville and I can't believe there is someplace in or around Cassville I have never been.

Hrm... I've never heard of it. But that area around there is so cave-y, that it doesn't surprise me for something like tha to be there.

There are a lot of caves around there, for sure.

I guess there aren't many people on this site familiar with that area, I will have to quiz some of my uncles about it since they grew up in Cassville.

If you do find out anymore on it, I'd like to hear about it. I float Flat Creek down that way, and of course I like to go hike at Roaring River. I know more about Stone County than I do Barry county, though.
