Joplin drainage tunnel

Spent a little bit of time in Joplin this weekend. Wife and I checked out a storm sewer at Main and 10th, near the RR tracks. Walked about 15 minutes in and the end was nowhere to be found. Anyone know where this comes out? It starts as a standing tunnel and quickly becomes a stooping tunnel (kind of like the Fassnight park drain) with gutterboxes every once in awhile. Looks pretty old.
