Jagged Canyon Cave

Post by CliffCaver »

The overall difficulty of getting to this cave was rewarding, its lays at the bottom of a 900ft hill and we had to cross some large stream it was definitely a trek getting back was pretty gnarly. Jagged Canyon Cave is over 2000ft long and has a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion is like a long creek that eventually ends too small to crawl. The lower portion also has amazing formations like a 25ftx25ft stalagmite seen in picture. The upper portion consists of a jagged canyon that’s very complex to navigate, glow sticks were left behind from another exploration. I wasn’t able to explore the canyon part fully but I plan on going back as usual. We seen lots of creatures in the cave like bats frogs and even a crawfish! We even might have found a second entrance to the Jagged Canyon Cave before you get to the cave there’s this creek going down a big massive hill and in the creek bed is a hole that leads down to a large cave and it’s not far from the cave, we decided to leave it for next cause it was atleast a 10ft to 20ft drop. Anyways thanks for reading! Here’s the video https://youtu.be/hvR3Quh8Xus

Awesome as usual my dude!
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

The sign in the front says to cave responsibly.
Not to touch formations
To where a helmet
And at the end it says take nothing but pictures.
