So did I hear that FEMA finally tore down Riverside? If that's true, it makes me sooo sad. That place had real history, and excellent lobster bisque!

Its open until the end of the year. Then they are tearing it down. Oddly enough on 560 AM this morning they were talking about it being haunted. The inn and the bridge.

Ok, heres my story which just recently happened...

So legend has it that a ghost not only haunts riverside but the stretch of the finley river behind it. He rows up and down the river around midnight or so. If you show up looking for him and you hear or see a solid white cat meow youre too late.

Well some friends and I were night fishing when a car drove by slowed wayyy down then continued to pull into the riverside inn parking lot. A little concerend we decided to check it out. A green Camaro sat parked with no one in the car. having heard the door shut we knew someone had to be nearby. So know we were truly concerend. We sat around and talked of all the possiblities when one friend stated he saw a cat turning around we all saw it. We began calling for the abnormally white cat. It sprinted away to a distance of approx. 150 yards sitting there just watching us. it was a rather chilling experience. If only we would have been on the river we might have got to see the great haunter of riverside inn.
