Gulf Oil pipeline pumping station, Lebanon / FLW

Post by Chris »

Another thread asked about a building that turned out to be a pumping station. The linked article said there were more in Lebanon, Steelville, Monett, etc.

Found the one near (but not that near!) Lebanon.

Looks like there's not a whole lot left but it may be worth checking out if you live in the area.

Yeah dude. The emptiness inside was a bummer though, but it had to be investigated.

Well, the one in Strafford is still there and very much intact. There is another in Monett, which appears to have several additions and may be serving as a residence. The one in Steelville is actually part of Steelville High School now! There is one in Oklahoma that's still intact and empty and lastly the farthest east one I found is south of Valmeyer, but it's being used for something.

They're all on a more-or-less straight line, more-or-less 50 miles apart from each other.
