I would love to go...I got really excited when I read the initial post. Unfortunately, I realized I'll be out of town. Like right now and I won't even be back in the St. louis area till late saturday night. I will watch for your pics and patiently wait for the next time.

I've decided to return to Missouri sooner that expected. Is there any way the trip can be pushed back to Aug 1st? I'd like to see that cave. Maybe some others from St Louis are up for a little road trip and would share the gas $.

This saturday is not going to work due to the rain. It really needs a good dry spell before going since it is a wet cave and its REALLY hard to climb the clay when its wet.

I say we try again August 22nd and hopefully more people can go and it wont be so wet.

Yeah, that will definitely work out a lot better for me too. I'm still trying to find a decent helmet and headlamp.

Also, I agree that a wet cave after a rain is a BAD idea. We did that once and it was like trying to swim through the clay. Fun, but exhausting.

Arrg! I'm glad I saw this thread again. A school function came up that I have to attend as our organization's president on the 22nd. Responsibility is overrated. Let me know how it goes though.
