Midwest Fest '09

Post by Jamesw »

This is also posted on UER.CA..

Well the time has come to hold another Midwest event. Heck I don't even know if one has been held before, but none the less we are going to have one. I am shooting for Saturday April 18th 2009. I figured a Saturday would be a good day because we can do some exploring that day/night and possibly on Sunday. This would still give out of of state members a chance to get home before work/school on Monday.

If anyone has any good idea's for a location for it let me know. I have one in mind and I know we can pull it off there. Plus parking is a breeze there...

We will have BBQ and chips.. Drinks will be up to everyone else to bring on their own. Should me a great time with a lot of awesome people. I am personally looking forward to meeting some of you!

I never really go to that site.

..and I am undecided based on school schedule for next semester. I will try, though.

As a related note, I don't think it's such a good idea to have that picture on the uer.ca page.. assuming that's where you want to go.

+1

No need to advertise such a place and have random strangers from godknowswhere thinking they can get inside it. That's bad for everyone!

I am assuming you are referring to my avatar correct? That has nothing to do with the meet up! As far as people from every where trying to get in, I want to wish them good luck. However I will change...

Being new to the site, I didn't know it was your avatar. I thought you were advertising the "where" of the meet up. Not being an elitist, just looking out for your inconspicu-ity, if that's a word.

I still plan on making the event, wherever it is.

I'd at least consider it, although I rarely (if ever) post at UER. Too many furries. :x

It is for everybody not just a UER thing. I posted it there because that site reaches out to a lot more people.

On a side note your signature is pretty funny..

Put me down as a "Maybe"

I have three UE trips planned already for next spring. I have to start sorting out which ones I want to take.

Can I get an idea on local accomadations? Hotels? Motels? ect?

I would definetly be interested in attending. Would like a little more specifics however. It's a wee bit of a drive for me (moved to Georgia).
They called it domesticated, tamed, feminized ... is there a pill I can take to get rid of it??
