Carthage / Joplin day

Post by Curor »

I was just wondering if anybody was interested in doing it either this coming weekend or a week or two after. I was really wanting to go to the Carthage underground, but other than that I am drawing a blank. I seem to remember we had a list of things to do, but I am in too much of a hurry to really look for it at the moment.

I'd probably be up for it.

I'd be interested in doing the Underground again, but I won't be back until the 20th or so, so it would have to be closer to the end of the month for me.

ALSO, if anyone would like to go exploring in Joplin some time I'd be up for it. I used to go down there for concerts a lot, but I never really got the chance to do any exploring. I know there's a lot of old buildings downtown, but I don't know how easy it would be to get in to any of them.

I know where a few interesting looking buildings and a tunnel are in Joplin. I also know people there who could show me a few more, so I'd like to do that. A trip to the underground with a little less failure would also be pretty cool.

So whats up with Carthage I might be down in a couple weeks. Is it a 2 day thing or just a long one day thing?

If I go down there it will probably be a two day event. I imagine that I will make another parking lot fire by stockton lake.
