I WANNA EXPLORE SOMETHING BEFORE I LEAVE

Post by Sertile »

Title says it all. We never explore anymore. There's tons of buildings downtown now that are all being worked on and a lot of them were still open last time I checked. We need to get together and go check 'em out sometime in the next 10 days or so. My weekends are pretty full, but I'm up for any week night. Weeknights are probably safer anyway, and we wouldn't have to stay out real late.

I've already been in most of them, but I'm still all for it. Just PM me a time and place if you don't mind me going.

Exploring? What kind of site do you think this is?

A "your mom" joke site?
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

I live in Springfield, not STL. I'd love to do some exploring up that way sometime - maybe when I get back - but not this week. Underdog called me last night and we ended up hitting some of the soon-to-be lofts behind Jordan Creek (the night club, not the river). Sorry Curor, I would've got ahold of you but I was out of town all weekend and it was pretty last-minute.

Long story short it was fun but I don't feel like we accomplished all that much. Plus we sort of got busted coming out of "Brick City," but it was just night security and I don't think the guy really gave a shit.

Yeah, the guy was in this old blue hatchback and just turned on his car lights and honked his horn. Never even got out of the car. Later we drove by the car to see who it was and they were wearing a uniform. Funny how thats the only time I've ever really be caught and the guy didn't even give a shit enough to get out.

Obviously you need to work out or something that the guy didn't think you looked threatening enough.

Or he thought we looked TOO threatening already!

And I was downtown again last night. I checked up on Brick City, and sure enough I saw the same car come rolling up around 9:30. I'm guessing he's there every night around that time, so plan your trips accordingly.
