We explored that building and I don't recall any giant pit.

That lower building was the pump house. That farm was kinda like Purina Farms is today. I have been there a two times, in 2011 and 2014 and a lot has changed. A man named Mike Roberts "Not the dude on the news" is trying to buy the Pevely Farm Property. He lives in the big ass house at the end of lewis road and owns all the open fields. He is a million $ developer. The folks in Pevely Farms do not take well to strangers. Joyce Myers lives in there and a few other known names.

I was told by a 90+ old man that Mike Roberts has been trying to by the Pevely Farms but all the home owners own 2 acres of land in the course and a dispute has happened and all development has been halted. So don't drive through and when asked say you plan to by land and just looking.

It pays to talk to to those you run into.

When I first went there in 2011 there was a tractor in the barn and the small limestone house was open. When I went in there was an AM radio playing and a lot of horse gear all around. In 2014 that house looked vacant and a fifth wheel trailer parked in front of the house with a black ford parked on roll roof beside it.

I did not knock on the door like someone else's just walked around it to stay out of sight.

TIP be warned if you park on Lewis Rd. Cops drive that road often. Their shooting range is just on the other side of 44.

Which direction did you approach from? From the golf course or the opposite direction?

I've been to the factory side twice now but both times saw the truck and never got the balls to wander over to the otherside to see the house.

Factory? You mean the barns and stable? That was a mass milking barn.

In 2011 I walked the gated road. And in 2014 I went the back way from castle wood trail down near the pump house. The folks that live in the course keep theirs eyes open throughout the day.

Yes that part, I have no idea why I typed factory, haha.

And I approached from the golf course twice, but no one really saw me.

I was fare warned by some women on horse back that lived in there. They suggested the path I took.

When a student went there in like 2012 the cops were called on him and was escorted by three PO-POs to 44

My last visit I spoke with a man walking the back road along the tracks told me cops pull into the golf course daily with their lights on. I assume for that reason.
