There's also a Ramada in Hazelwood that got hit by a tornado and is going to be torn down. Police use it for training right now though. Don't know where it is exactly but I need to find it! I imagine it's off Lindbergh.

Well I tried to get into the Holiday Inn yesterday but was unsuccessful. Right as we were walking up to the point of entry, a car showed up and parked right in front of it. It was a big fat youngish lady (typical white trash blond curly ugly mop hair and all) in a newer charger. She didn't appear to be an owner, maybe just someone who parked to talk on the phone, but I wasn't taking any chances. Then, as we were leaving, another vehicle showed up. It was a well dressed man driving a shitty grey blazer. He parked in the front of the building. No idea what was going on, but obviously I had bad timing. It was odd though because she looked more suited for the shitty blazer, and he looked like he should have been driving the charger. I would say husband and wife or someone meeting but they were at opposite ends of the building.

That's on Dunn road near the airport. Looking at Google Earth, it's a modern motor-hotel type structure across from a Comfort Inn.

That's exactly where I thought it was. I'll go by there today and at least try and gets pics of the outside.

Well that was a hell of a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be. It was wide open but gutted. I'll post pics later.

I have been there a couple of times in the past for trade shows. I wasn't sure it was the same place until I saw the indoor pool area. I thought it was a pretty neat place at the time. It kind of makes me a little sad to see it like this though. Its crazy how quickly things go downhill once a place becomes empty.

Been gone long enough by now that the new hotel construction is probably done now or close to it.
