I just want to warn you guys: I live about five miles from where those bunkers are located, and if you made the drive all the way to St. Louis to see them, you would leave severely disappointed. While there are MANY of them located in the Busch Wildlife Preserve, only two or three are accesible. The rest are sealed off with giant metal door and big fuck-off locks. Plus, inside there is only an empty room. It's definately not a St. Louis highlight.

i mapped all of the bunkers , true lots of them are welded shut . but the drive through and the old streetlights and other things , like the cemetary are really cool and make the trip well worth it

I've been hiking in the state recreation area near there, and have checked out some of those bunkers. But I did't know there was an ammo plant!!

if you look on google maps there ae a few large buildings back in the woods , i havent had the chance to go back and look at them , but now that fall is here i think i will be road tripping back down there.

its where i used to host my pics , i paint cars so i host all my files there. gotta prob with that ?
