My wife's parents live in Edwardsville Il, and on the way to there house you pass by an abandoned house with a barn.

It is located here...

I went by the Chesterfield house again, and this time the fence was up again, and the doors were all closed up this time.

Walk literally 20 feet into the woods on the left side. You'll see.

Yeah, it was down for quite some time. When we were there, it was up, too.

I can't really imagine why they waste their time putting it back up every time.

Anyone who's interested will make the 20' walk into the woods. Anyone who's not, won't bother.

Unfort, two days after taking this shot, I went back to do more shooting, a 90 y/o man along with the police kindly escorted me OFF the land. Another friend of mine went there last week, he too was stopped by the police. So......

It's always a little creepy to find houses still full of stuff like that, as if the people just disappeared. In Eureka, across from Six Flags there was a whole town like that. There had to be like 20-30 houses, a post office, pawn shop and church. The houses were all full of personal belongings...
Here's a few pics of that town:

That's fucking crazy, drummer. It's REALLY bizarre how it seems like all the families just up and left without any of their belongings. It's a shame too, looks like it would've been a pretty nice place to live.

Yeah those allenton pics are almost as creepy as chernobyl pics. Why would people just leave everything. Like the computer that was still set up at the desk.
So strange. Thanks for sharing those!
