Some of the furnaces do, and the old quarry as well as the new and still slightly active quarry. I think there was one partial building, but not much of it. The town is basically gone, but the old quarry is cool.

I think that house was abandoned cause with were sent to the future in that machine.

Mandi, was this "club house" and trash on the right side of the road? I Know where this is, and was recently down there, but did not see the barrels, etc. Where they on the same side of the road, further down?

Lots of junk in the area, i.e. 55 gallon drums of an unknown substance.

Nice find!

Yup this was on the right side, and all the junk was on the land next to it. I had to walk around for awhile before finding some of it. I nearly trespassed on active land with a trailer (I think. It was awhile ago).

I found a few other interesting things in that area yesterday. This was all by the Grafton Ferry.

Club Sherwood Bath House. I wasn't able to crawl through the window like I wanted because people were watching me. Maybe another time. ;)

I'm thinking this was the bottom portion of a river house because of the high windows. Doesn't look that old but the roots at the entrance were pretty big. Someone cuts the trees, which means it might have some sort of historical significance. Or maybe they needed firewood. Lol.

So the barrels, etc where probably a few hundered yards off the road. I walked about 100/150 yards and didnt wanna go further as i know there is a house not much further into them trees.

Update: The bathhouse by the Grafton Ferry was left open on Monday. As soon as I walked up to the door, a pickup truck flew up and started watching me from across the street, so I left. As soon as I did I saw him drive over there, but for some reason he didn't close the door. Looks like there was some equipment stored in there. The whole thing was very strange though. If I saw someone poking around and I wasted the energy to come see what they were doing, I sure as hell would have closed that door. Just sayin.

They probably are not to keen to anyone poking around the bath house as Sherwood Harbor is still operational. Well except for the bath house lol
