What is...
RE: What is...
I know I know! It's a bath house and spa. The big cylinder on the left is a hot swedish herbal mineral bath. (or was the bath on the right?)
Re: What is...
It's a cement plant, only 1/2 the complex is still in use, but not for making cement.
It was originally called Missouri Portland Cement Company, and later LaFarge Cement.
The other half is owned by the guy that owns the City Museum. Since that picture was taken a lot has changed. He's built a fence out of cement truck barrels and railroad tracks and has build a large dirt pyramid with some steel tanks embedded in it. There is a castle near the middle made out of cobblestones. He's also piled up a huge pile of dirt all the way to the top of one of the silo buildings.

I bet the guy would be really friendly towards explorers.
I wonder if we contacted him if he'd let us explore the place.

Re: What is...
Yeah he (yumology) took like 50 pics or so. I will let him post the link to them. There was a make shift swimming pool and kids toys all over the newer masonry work. It was pretty cool architecture and brick work they are doing.

RE: What is...
yup yup and sneaking up on unattended radios was fun too
Re: What is...
Yeah it is not small by any means. There is one building that is very dilapidated and not very structurally sounds considering the 3rd story collapsed onto the 2nd story.ropingk wrote:OMG that place is awesome It is HUGE and the pics are great must have been a HUGE concret plant at one time
