That place is amazing... as soon as you think you're done, there's another weird staircase, and another, and another... we did almost have a mishap on the green steps, though. One flight of them is boarderline perilous.

any body else ever think about how many workers walked up and down them stepts??? hao mand diffrent feet were on them

ok so i know im strange but i just think about that stuff

Yep, I always consider that kind of thing when exploring an abandoned structure. The structure itself was once a witness to life and activity. I think that aspect of it is what attracts me to UE.

The history is just so cool a place that was at one time in competion with Budweiser but then the same can be said about Lemp and the old Welsh Baby Carriage building

Exactly. Think of the conversations they had.. and the work they did.. and think of how some people could have worked there for decades and not been to as much of it as we explorers have.

That's actually an article about a different brewery. They had one on Forest Park Ave. as well.
