Anyone been to the Meramec Highlands Tunnel at the end of Barberry Lane in Kirkwood?

And the station. The yellow house on the corner served as the stationmaster's house and a small post office as well.

Is it still open? I know they are putting a subdivision in at the location, but I was wondering what shape the tunnel was in.

It's still technically there, but it half buried, they put a brick wall almost up to the top, bars up from there, and filled it with construction rubble.

The station is technically there as well, but they destroyed any historical value it may have had.
