City hospital and St. Louis Army Ammunition Plant (I'm assuming that's what you mean by st. louis armory) are demolished now. And I don't know what the 14th street mall is....is that the St. Louis Centre? If so, it is being renovated right now, so not quite "abandoned." Here's my list of places that are readily accessible and within 50 Miles, as per your guidelines (in random order):

-St. Mary's Infirmary
-Fallstaff Brewery
-Armour Packing Plant
-Carondelet Coke Plant
-Rock City Quarry (just because of how HUGE it is)

You are correct. Two completely different complexes, although somewhat closeby.

There was a cop sitting in the loading dock area right as we pulled up in my car. So that killed that fun for the night

any one who wants to do falstaff is gonna need a ladder. Or some type of rope devise the lowest easiest entrance is 8 feet of the ground.

City hospital is not demolished, it is the Georgian Condominium Complex. Speaking of the Georgian, and this thread, Gilded Age (the developer that did the Georgian) has purchased St. Mary's infirmary, but considering their seeming inability to finish what they start, and their soon to be constructed strip mall on Bohemian Hill, it should be a viable exploration site for years to come. They might start taking better care of it though.

Yeah, I guess demolished wasn't the right word. However, they did destroy a few of the newer buildings, while keeping the older more historic domed ones.
