Winner's Point

Post by silverstreak »

Winners Point was a family fun center along Highway 70 near O'Fallon which closed in the mid 90's. There is 2 overgrown miniature golf courses, multiple batting cages, and a go kart track. It yielded some nice photo opportunities if you like seeing nature reclaim things. Since I visited the site, the main building which used to house the arcade, and concession stand has been sold to a tutoring group. Not too much to see but still a cool place to kill some time.

Ha. UE putt putt!

There's a large abandoned an overgrown go-kart track off of Telegraph in south county as well, but I've never been there.

I think I might have to steal one of those pitching machines. With a few mods, I think I could make it fling apples and other small fruit at a rather alarming rate. That would just be too fun.

Awesome find. You guys always find cool stuff. Were there any go karts left? I'd like to get one.
What's the point of making a point if the point you are trying to make is pointless? Do you get my point?
