Inaugural Latenight Scouting in STL

Post by cringe »

I did some minor scouting/wandering last night on the Arch River Front. I stumbled upon an entirely abandoned street on the north side of the arch.

There's several posted buildings, all of which are rather accessible and currently being gutted for demolition.

In addition, further along the railroad tracks there are other buildings that look rather promising as well. :]

Just curious if anyone knows anything about these structures. Apologies if I've come across sounding "newbie," just a small change from the small town exploring I'm used to. More abandonment and less security I guess.. :D

Theres also a kickass bike path, including the awesome concrete bridge leading into the power plant..

Cheers,

We've spent a couple weekends hanging out up there. We've spent some time in the transfer warehouse and a building near the steam plant.
