I got some good information on a few drains in the St. Louis area, if we manage to get some St. Louis users on here.
First up, we have the Grand and Bates Relief Sewer, which may or may not be completed yet. It has more than 6000 feet of 9 foot diameter pipe and has an outflow on the Mississippi River. It should be fairly easy to get into, if it's finished. If it's not, it will be soon. Here's three links on it:

Next up, we have something called the Baumgartner Interceptor Tunnel. It's supposedly six miles long and has 108-120 inch pipe at over 160 feet deep. This is another one that may not be finished yet, but there should be something worth seeing, I'd guess. I also know it goes or will go under Widman County Park. Here's a map of it:

Then we have the Harlem Creek Sewer. There's a 3000 foot section from Hall Street to west of Broadway, and I'm not sure how big it is, but it must be huge. The second section of the sewer runs west of Broadway toward East Taylor till just past West Florissant Avenue. The second section is 2,100 feet long and made of 17 foot by 25 foot reinforced concrete arch. The sewer/drain lies between Bellefontaine Cemetery and O'Fallon Park. Here's a link on that one:

Here's two more that I assume are huge as well, but that I don't have information on. One is the Creve Coeur-Frontenac Relief Sewer and the other is Skinker-McCausland Sewer Tunnel.
Like I said, hopefully we'll get some St. Louis area guys on here soon that can let us know about these.
