Cementland

Post by hrynn »

Making a trip to St Louis this week, and am really interested in checking out Cementland. I don't see any recent discussion about it when I search. An current advice on best point of entry or anything else helpful to know?
Thanks for any advice you might give me!

There's some random white trucks a ways in here and I'm not sure what they're about so probably gonna dip. Shame, what I saw was cool haha

So! The trucks that were making me nervous at first ended up just being random dude's there to take scrap metal from the place.

Ended up staying and having a good time exploring.

Getting in was no issue at all, there's plenty of breaks in the fence and another by the railroad tracks.

Here's a link to some of the pictures I took:

I've had luck parking at the trailhead across the street. I have seen people park inside the property, but I don't think that is a good idea, especially considering all the nails. The area is fine if you go in the morning. I have seen a lot of county people there too, it is a very popular spot.
