Please note that all photo's are copywrited to R.M.Desinz and individuals caught sharing, saving, copying, posting on other forums or any way used other than viewing here without written consent from R.M.Desinz, are in violation of this copyright. Not trying to be a dick...just covering my business.

Well to start with we went and I got a nice high-res pic of the local Toynbee plaque.

After that we went and checked out some underground vacated steam generator(we think) rooms.

Then we headed over to the 8th St tunnels.

After that we went to an old fall out shelter thats part flooded and sad to say, very trashed and graffiti'd.

The fallout shelter you were in is B&H underground. If you take the rowboat to the other side there is alot more to see.
I went over to the dark side, but just to pick up a few things.

Awesome shots there. So what method of entry did you use to get into the 6th and Baltimore basement?

And yeah, that's not a fallout shelter. It's an abandoned business park that flooded. Though I feel like I recall seeing a fallout sign in there. Beyond the flooded area though is more area with cinder block walls, and beyond that is unfinished.

Are the lights always on in the 8th street tunnel??? if not how does everyone seem to find the the switch?? who pays the light bill??are the lights old bulbs are are the "New "ones I know this seems strange but if you think about it is a little odd that the light would still be working after ----How many years------

The switch is actually really easy to find, and is newer. So are the lights. The lights and the walkway where put in around the time of the rediscovery by the company that owns the land, presumably so they can show it to the VPs. There is also a bunch of humidity/temp monitoring devices in place.

I bet I can guess. Dammit.

If anyone wants to read it still, though, I have the entire article (except for one illegible sentence) posted here:

Think you can make them a little more dialup friendly this time? Some of us aren't even on 56k dialup :P

Seriously, though. That last place on your pictures is my favorite location of anywhere I've ever been. I've slogged all through that place in a pair of waders. There's some parts of that place you simply can't see any other way. Gets chest high in places, too.

I think the water has come down a lot since you have seen it WR. A vast majority of all the hallways and such are no longer flooded. But then again, I think there's even more we haven't seen because we didn't boat the other direction. I dunno. The next time you come up to KC, we'll take you again.

Thanx for the compliments guys, I am just trying to document theses places while we still can before they are forgotten or destroyed. Any help would be appreciated, just let myself or KCExlorer know. Also, if you have any background on this B&H Underground I would love to read it.

Thanx again,
