What always baffles me is why people who aren't interested in a thread or a topic feel compelled to express their disinterest when it would take much less energy to just move on to one they are interested in.

I'm going to have to agree with Poky's sentiment. I've wondered the same thing. But I usually just move on.

So like, the Bannister Mall is closed. Remember when it use to, like, be open and stuff?

Is it really in a bad neighborhood? I heard it was.

Thank you kind sir.

I am, of course, going to ignore the couch title comment. :P

Well, the neighborhood never seemed that much worse than any other to me. The worst crime I have personally seen in the area was theft, mostly of unattended property. There was also quite a bit of drug activity. While that is bad enough, it's still not like people were getting knifed or shot there every day as the news media would like you to believe..

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! This thread is smokin'!

What can you expect of people like me that like forums such as Dead Malls.com?

Quite a few of your "rent-a-cops", I'm guessing. They don't want to have the copper wire harvested.

There is some sort of work going on in there. I have seen lights in there at night when I drove by. As in, overhead lights not somebody's flashlight. These are quite visible from I-435 so I doubt very much that whoever is in there is trying to hide anything. I haven't heard anything about any plans for it though.

I don't know who took these, but he/she takes good pictures:

Needs to be a slideshow with some sufficiently eerie music behind it.
