'The Wall of Heads'--KCK/Rosedale

Post by DJ Clem »

Hello, just discovered the site. Great stuff here!

I wonder if anyone here has pics of the amazing 'Wall of Heads' behind Rosedale Park? This was down the hill behind the park (lovingly referred to as "Booger Hollow" by some), a claptrap house with several monkey, horse and other animal heads cast in cement. Most of the items used as molds appeared to be toys (I recognized a cast of He-Man's "Castle Grayskull" from my youth). There were literally hundreds of heads in the yard and in the drainage ditch in front of the house. The owners (creators?) of the place were notorious for chasing away anyone who stopped to investigate or take pictures, and in the last year or so, a tall wooden fence was erected, obscuring most of the heads.

If anyone has pics or can post a link, I'd be much obliged. -DJC
