Anyone have any detailed info on this location? I'm interested in finding out who owns it, what their general percieved interest in it is, etc.

Nothing major, I'd just like to make contact with them about occasional private use of the facility that would require legitimate permission.

Well, according to the info here:

The command area is owned by the US Gov.'t, and the launch area is owned by W.R. Gibson Farms & Flight Systems Inc.

Beyond that, don't know. You might grab a Pleasant Hill phone Book and look up "W.R. Gibson". Or, better yet, head to the county recorder's office, find it on the map and see who owns it. Might be inconveinient, but it's nearly a sure bet.

Look at the initials. It belongs to White Rabbit duh.....





A tax search revealed a W.R. Gibson and a William R Gibson in lonejack(just up the road from the site)

Yeah... There's some conflicting info on this. I've read stuff that says it's owned by Gibson farms or whatever. Then I've read a bunch of other stuff that says it's owned by the Lone Jack school district now. Either way, we did see Gibson farms stuff when we were there.
