Changes at Doling structures

Grey and myself were out there the other day and noticed that the area with the old sewage treatment plant is a little more fenced off now and has a ridiculous number of "No Tresspassing!" signs posted all over the place.

Following our usual policy of outmanuevering the law rather than breaking it, we walked down the stream bed (which was unmarked, except with a few human turds) to the drain tunnels. When we neared the tunnels, we noticed a very strong odor of marijuana smoke and then spotted several adult males toking it up in the vicinity of the tunnels. They left as soon as they noticed us, heading off on the posted land.

Just in case one of these guys was the property owner, I made it a point to wave at them so they'd know I had seen them if they decided to report us. They also had a young lady of about three years of age with them, so I don't think it was a risk they were willing to take.

Anyway, just an FYI for any interested parties.

Well, I've heard from several reputable sources that the guy who owns the property there adjacent to Doling Park is a major asshat, so I'm not at all surprised. I'm lucky I've never ran into anyone, considering how many times I've been there.

I did get "sort of" chased out of the quarry once, though.

Nah, that's all just a lot of hot air. I was climbing around on the rocks there one day, not actually anywhere near the bottom, and some guy came driving out in an old beat up car. When it became apparent that he was heading my way I headed back on up onto park property, and as soon as he saw that I was leaving he did a 180* and headed back to the chop shop. I'm pretty sure his intention was to drive me out of the quarry, in which case he was successful, but it's not like there was any kind of armed conflict.

My Sertile-senses tell me that the guy who owns the old buildings on the other side of the park is way crazier, and a lot more likely to actually follow through on his threats.

hey im new to this board, i know the family who owns the place.
the youngest kids name is levi. levi is my friend, hes a really nice guy. hes 16 and they have had people cross from doling and break into there house atleast 3 time in the past 10 years.
i have helped him put those signs up so please!!!! dont tear them down.

no, his older brother did that. have you ever explored the old sewage area back there? ive found 3 arrowheads there. the comment someone said about people smoking pot back there, i highly doubt it was the owners.

SO is the path around the quarry the parks and the quarry itself private? Also is the sewage plant to the west of the trails? thanks, we just moved over here and were poking around. Its pretty hard to tell what is what, as people walk all over back there.
