Re: SubLunar's Blog

ATTENTION

I have gone through hell and returned.

The blog is now COMPLETELY 99.9% updated. I've REUPLOADED EVERYTHING. And it FUCKING SUCKED. (Basically) Every picture on my blog is now ~1000px, going back to the very beginning in 2007. No more tiny ass 450px images in a broken gallery that is completely unusable on a phone. No more javascript or other bullshit. Just straight up direct links to images on every post. It scales correctly on all browsers, etc. I had gone through and mostly fixed the HTML a while back but some of it was still janky and many of the images were still too small. It literally took DAYS to TEDIOUSLY re-edit/batch/upload. And NOBODY CARES except ME and THAT'S OKAY. Because I PROBABLY HATE MOST OF YOU ANYWAY.

Also here's a new post:

I forgot to link the latest blog post here.

We returned to Falstaff recently, with intentions. To get dirty. And wet. Deep down in the dark.

Last time, baghead and I waded it and he found a little floatie and rode that off into the darkness. I was only able to access about 2/3 of the cellars due to the water depth going over my chest waders towards one end. This time, we brought rafts.

Also, some sucker left a sweet ass raft down there which I have re-homed. Thanks for the free raft!

So you climbed into the Inaugural's machine room with Submechanophobia? Or did it not bother you in there like it did in the brew cellar?

I don't experience a crippling paranoia with it. Just a "fuck that" feeling. The machine room was mostly mud anyway. But I definitely felt a tad claustrophobic in there, especially considering the tiny hole we had to crawl through

New post up now:

Colorado Gold Mines

Colorado is fucking awesome but it's also fucking brutal. I thought I busted my ass exploring these gold mines but that was nothing compared to the upcoming post.

Welp here's the big one.

The Skaguay Hydroelectric Power Plant

I'm still hurting from this and it's been over a month now. My knees in particular are pretty fucked.

Super awesome location!
Glad you and Mind didn't die.
Good luck with the knees, I fucked mine up in my late twenties during a multi-day hike in the nw Arkansas "mountains". To the point that I couldn't walk up stairs at all for a week, and without pain for a month. I still have to use walking sticks every time I go on long walks/hikes otherwise they start hurting after a mile. ...that said, you're generally healthier than me and in better shape, so you'll probably heal better faster over the long term.
