lol I appreciate the sentiment. But in all fairness, the majority of my conquests wouldn't have happened without the help of good comrades, most of whom I met on Underground Ozarks.

There's only been a couple big ones that I pulled off completely on my own. Most notably, Alcatraz / San Francisco. But then again, I wouldn't have made it to Alcatraz if my wife hadn't been on top of things and bugged their ticket agents until they sold her my last minute ticket while I was en route. I was already planning on going to San Fran, but the tickets to Alcatraz were sold out and she totally saved the trip for me.

Some of my comrades probably don't want to be incriminated but I think microwaave probably wouldn't mind me calling him out. He and I have done a lot of crazy shit, completely on our own in far away places with no help from locals. We have fuckin' killed it together. However, there are also a lot of instances in which we've made good friends in other cities and with whom we explore often and their comradery has been invaluable.

I meant to post more updates by now but work has been crazy. I'll see if I can get one posted here in a minute.

Factory #7

This place was a real bitch to get to. Most of the property borders a neighborhood and we had people eyeball fucking us the minute we pulled up. Had to check the maps and pick a different spot away from nosy neighbors. Took a long time and a lot of stumbling around through some super thick and difficult woods.

Ah yes! Here we see the king and his knights on their latest urbex adventure! On their way to explore the Castle Anthrax.

waave was saying that those glass piles were of unrecyclable glass? Do you know why it can't be recycled? I did a brief internet search for reasons but couldn't find any, except maybe if they mixed something like lead into it. But you'd think if that were the case they wouldn't leave it piled out in the elements.

PS

The blog has been kinda fucked up for a while, mainly the image gallery popup thing is fucked and various other things going on that have been driving me crazy. I'll be working on this as I have time. But blogger's HTML/css editing kind of totally sucks ass.

EDIT:

FINALLY FIXED THE IMAGE GALLERY THING. That was really fucking annoying. I was pouring over the HTML and CSS and trying changes, made a new test blog, pulling my fucking hair out. Finally whipped out developer tools to ID the gallery portion and discovered it was called "lightbox" and turns out it's fucking built in to blogspot. There's a Yes/No dropdown to enable/disable it this whole time.

That shit has been broken for.. years? Finally disabled it.

So now when you click on an image, it merely opens up in a new window. Close that and you're back at the blog, free of the stupid broken gallery.

ALSO

More blog fixes. The images now display at 100% and auto resize based on screen size, which means it finally plays nice with cell phones.

AFAIK, urbex is the best hobby. This place on the web has not only bolstered folks' photography skills, but also enabled the coolest microcommunity the region's had in 15 years. That might be a biased claim, but I'll stand by it 169 percent. All hail UO, long live forumz

Alright. So I finally posted the "juicy" location I've been teasing for I don't even know how long now. I've been hesitant to post this for a long time but I just saw it being demolished recently so I guess it's time.

I am, however, still holding out on at least 3 other juicy locations that I'm just not ready to post yet.

I'm quite happy with this one and also sad that I'm free to post it now. The good ones sure don't seem to last.

Awesome possum!

You should write a novelette about stalking and infiltrating places.
