BTW in case I haven't mentioned it yet, the blog and all the photos are now https so there should be no more mixed content errors/images not displaying in certain browsers/etc.

Here's the video from Leadville.

I tried something new with the video.. mainly because I wanted to add a disclaimer to explain why I didn't climb shit (broken collarbone/in a sling). But then I kept going with the subtitles to add some history/context. I've had people ask for subtitles or even just a watermark and this is what happened after dicking around for hours. Hopefully I'll improve them going forward but for now it is what it is. I've gone back and forth on how I feel about them. I think I'm like 49% against and 51% for them. If you bother to watch, let me know what you think.

If you're lucky. If you aren't, it's a slow decline involving a lot of pain and wishing you would just go already.

Sorry for the dark comment.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

Is the first pic of a security camera on a tripod?

I don't think they're security cameras specifically, but they are cameras and there's like 4 or 5 of them. Not sure of their exact purpose but those are one of the main reasons why it's really stupid to make it obvious that the site is compromised because I'm confident they don't belong to the motel. I assume they're some sort of authority/local television station related function. Frankly it might not even have been a good idea for me to include that shot or to be talking about it.

Maybe that's how local news gets their downtown skyline live feed for weather reports.
