Does anyone know anything worth checking out near Sikeston, MO be it buildings, caves, or anything interesting? Thanks

Well, you can drive right down the road and there's Cairo IL. lots of buildings getting torn down there, but there's still some good stuff to explore.

You will pass the Doe Run mining plant which is closed and on the EPA list to be torn down.

That is on my list this year.
Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints

As of January it's not completely closed. The smelter is still in limited use.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

Oh ok, I read that the plant was being shut down. I now see that the EPA has an update on it. $65m to correct violations SHIT
