Is how this sign should be read. Someone on UER (UrbexUS) posted this and I had a brief spark of genius and replied thusly.

It clearly says "No trespassing violators will be prosecuted". In other words, "None of the trespassing violators will be prosecuted".

To put it simply: If you are a "trespassing violator", you will not be prosecuted.

A semi colon would change the entire meaning. "No trespassing; Violators will be prosecuted." Or hell, even a period. With punctuation, it means they will prosecute trespassers who violate their No Trespassing rule.

But without punctuation, it clearly means they do not intend to prosecute any trespassing violators. So have at it.

As a pretend lawyer, I'm sure this explanation will totally get you out of trouble. "But officer, that sign doesn't say what you think it says!"

Yeah I have tried that one. Then they pulled up the ORD which was like pages of BS But ended up talking my way out of it.

"There is not enough room on the sign" "Here is ORD xxx.xxxx it states" Blahh Blahh

It's not our fault they chose such small signs. If they meant something to be implied outside of what's written, that's their problem for not getting signs large enough to accommodate their meaning. I'm a real pretend lawyer.
