The return of Falstaff or just a tease?

Griesedieck Bros are supposedly fighting Pabst over the Falstaff brand. They want to bring it back to Saint Louis and start brewing it again. Pabst recently brewed a small batch just to avoid losing the trademark by law.

We hear Falstaff hasn't been officially released yet. They did send out a "test" batch, which we in WI received, to see how it would play on the market. Pabst apparently hasn't settled on an outright recipe either. As to how they plan distribution otherwise is anyone's guess. From what our beer rep. tells us, it may take one to two years to get an official release.

They did this run to re-new there trademark so they have grip against Griesedieck in St Louis for a law suit because Griesedieck is saying if Pabst wont make it and sell it! Griesedieck wants to bring it back to St Louis MO and brew it for all of us to enjoy so but Griesedieck case is that Pabest could loose the trademark by law if they no longer are willing to brew it! But there strike back is brew a little batch so they dont loose it by law.
