Anyone got a slingshot like this?

Post by Spinner »

I watch this and think of a couple questions....

1. Why?
2. Who had to ride that thing first?
and
3. Why would anyone ride that WITHOUT a helmet?
4. Where can I go to ride it?!?!?!

Holy crap. Rareness indeed, I'm speechless.

I really don't think it is necessary to take off that fast with the 4 wheeler. I was a little worried there for a second.

Let me give you a 5 minute ride in my truck, I'll make that the last time you've said that.

5 minutes? Does that include cuddle time, too?

They have something like this but a whole lot safer at the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair in Ft. Smith. I've never done it because they charge $30 a person. It is funny to see the peoples faces on the monitor they have.

I've never seen "safer" and "state fair" in the same sentence. If it's anything like the mock sky-coaster they have at the AR State Fair in Little Rock, then you'd be smart to stay far away. (This is advice coming from a 250lb guy though, if I were lighter I might be more apt to trust elastic.)

well at six flags over st louis they something on this order it is like a big arch that has a basket like thing hooked to the top you lay down in the cradle and get straped in then there are these 2 tall poles that pull you back and up at the same time you reach a certin point and it releases you and realyl you are just swinging back and forth but you are really high and moving pretty good
I think it is like $25-$30 each to do it also it is a lot of fun bad thing it last like 3 minutes and it is over
