ice caves
I could not find where the question about them was but here are 2 pics of ice caves. They are not my pics but the one with the stairs in the background is the one on prior mountain on the wyoming-montana border and the other is the one on the volcano near gallup new mexico.

Re: ice caves
I actually think that I asked that question on the Ritter Springs Trip. But thanks for the pics, they're hardcore.

Re: ice caves
I saw an Imax film on caves, they went to greenland and went into some huge ice caves. 500+ feet down. It is crazy how microbes can survive in those extreme environments

RE: ice caves
I have that Imax film 'Amazing Caves' on DVD and a High Definition copy. Besides the ice caves it highlights a cave in the Grand Canyon and some cave diving in Mexico.I saw an Imax film on caves, they went to greenland and went into some huge ice caves.
Another neat thing about it is that the cave footage shown at the beginning was shot in Blanchard Springs Caverns. It was edited in such a way that the first time you watch it you may think the footage was from the Grand Canyon cave but it was from Blanchard Cave.

I've not seen the film but there is quite a bit of creative editing. The guy that was married to the scientist (british chick) in the film had a nasty little break-up with her and dished some dirt on his website.
I've been around her drinking years ago at a caving event and found her to be,,,,,,well....just fucking annoying as hell.
.....I feel better now.

RE: ice caves
You dish some dirt of your own but no website?!
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own. I resign.
RE: ice caves
It was up for probably a year. It's been taken down. Might have been part of the divorce settlement.
The fakery I understand happened during the dive scenes.
