Actually, the reporter emailed us and asked us if he could interview us for a story about Underground Ozarks and the Carthage Underground. We told him we could do even better and just take him on a trip there with us. So that's what we did.

This went out on the Associated Press wire, so there could be a bunch more papers carrying this story that don't have it online. It also means there could be even more papers with it in there tomorrow.

Yeah, it's not like someone scammed us into this. We know exactly who wrote the article, invited him along, and were all willing participants.

Anyway, I could not be happier with the way this one turned out. Going out on the AP wire like that just makes it that much sweeter. The name of Sertile will finally be known throughout the land!

I'm mostly just glad he portrayed us in a positive and accurate light. This should do some good for our cause, one would hope.

I was informed by someone today that we were also in the Salina Journal, but there's no online version. That brings the newspaper total that we know of to seven.

Yeah, I did a search for the phrase "Anne, a blond 17-year-old" just to see how many hits I got, and I found a lot of weird sites linking to the story, so it looks like it's making the rounds around the net as well. One of the most random sites was a Nike website in the UK. Apparently they linked to any story with the word "Nike" in it... too bad this was a missile and not a shoe.
