Is Acid Tunnel Safe?

Are the conditions safe enough to visit? Is there homeless people? Rats? Mice? I'm considering visiting.

Exploring in general, however, is not really very "safe".

I'd guess so, but I'm particularly interested in this area, considering it was the first thing I found on the site. I'm wanting to get high quality footage, as the only footage of it is low quality over on YouTube.

If memory serves me right, which it may not, Acid tunnel is just a straight tunnel and it was shortened years ago when they did construction on the freeway? I don't think it was ever really that dangerous.

Yeah literally just a straight, pretty short tunnel. First time I was there there was a neat little plaque outside. Faux gold that had a serif engraving, "Welcome to the Acid Tunnel", but it was gone by the last time I was there. Also all the artwork had been covered by with some goofy kid shit. I'd still go with a friend and never in the rain but nothin' to be scared of
